About Us
At Stellabotte Skating + Development, our mission is evolving to meet the demands of the ever-changing landscape of hockey while remaining committed to what matters most: developing better hockey players, building better human beings, and creating opportunities for athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
As the game continues to evolve, so must our approach to player development. We believe success is not defined solely by wins, rankings, statistics, or the logo on a jersey, but by the growth, work ethic, character, confidence, and long-term development of each individual athlete.
Our responsibility goes far beyond teaching the game of hockey. Our job isn't just to develop better hockey players; it's to help develop better human beings. We believe the lessons learned through hockey—accountability, discipline, respect, leadership, perseverance, and being a great teammate—are far more valuable than any trophy, championship, or individual accomplishment.
Our focus is on providing an honest, challenging, and supportive environment where athletes are encouraged to push beyond their comfort zones, embrace adversity, learn from failure, and take ownership of their development. We believe in challenging our players, holding them accountable, and teaching them that nothing worth achieving comes without hard work and sacrifice.
Through high-level instruction, individualized feedback, mentorship, and a commitment to doing things the right way, we strive to prepare athletes not just for their next season or next level of hockey, but for the opportunities and challenges they will face throughout their lives.
We understand that not every player will play junior hockey, earn a college scholarship, or reach the professional level. However, every player who comes through our program has the opportunity to become a better teammate, a better leader, and a better person. That is how we ultimately measure our success.
The landscape of hockey is changing. Our commitment to developing great players and even better people never will.
